About Me

My Testimony:

I trusted in Christ on May 7, 1994, when I was almost 4 years old. It’s probably my earliest memory. I grew up in a Christian home where my parents took me to church and Sunday school every week. I learned that even though the “wages of sin is death, the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Soon after I trusted in Christ, however, doubt began to creep in. I thought, “Maybe I wasn’t really saved- maybe I was too young to understand what I was doing.” I really struggled with this for a long time until one night, when I was at Bible camp, my camp director quoted Acts 16:31, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.” It was then that I had full assurance that I was saved, because I had indeed trusted in Jesus and his death, burial and resurrection to save me from my sins.
I grew up hearing missionary stories in Sunday School and meeting “real life” missionaries at church and in our home. I thought being a missionary would be one of the coolest jobs in the world. As I studied Scripture in my early teen years, I began to understand the reality about those who have never heard of Christ. I knew that there were many people all around the world who were facing an eternity apart from Christ because they had never even heard of Him much less been given the chance to trust in Him. My heart was deeply burdened for those who had no opportunity to even hear about Christ. I wanted to be a part of bringing the Gospel to these people.
I took several trips to Papua New Guinea throughout my teen and college years. I have developed a passion for this country and its people.  I just finished training with New Tribes Mission with the intention of going back to Papua New Guinea to aid in the church planting effort. I hope to do this by serving in a support role.

My Vision:

I believe that God’s heart is for the nations to know Him and glorify Him as Lord. Revelation 7:9 says that in heaven there will be “a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” It is a sort of promise from God that people from every language and nation will be in heaven. I want to be a part of fulfilling that promise.
2 Corinthians 5: 14-15 says, “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.” Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” These two verses lay out very clearly that my life is not my own, but God’s to direct as He pleases.
I want to be able to be an extension of the local church by going overseas and helping in the church planting effort among least reach people groups by serving in a support role.
I want tribal people to come to know Christ as Savior and glorify Him for eternity. I want to see His Church encouraged, challenged and mobilized through my ministry. I want people to have a desire to do something with their lives for the Lord.
